Accommodation

We can accommodate 60 residents with single rooms, double rooms, and a four bedded high dependency unit in close proximity to the nurse’s station. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished. Residents are encouraged to bring with them personal items like ornaments and photographs to make it homely. All our bedrooms are ensuite and are fitted with aids to assist mobility. Showers are walk in and contain an emergency call button.

Meals

We have installed a state of the art commercial kitchen and preparation area. We pride ourselves on our top quality home cooked meals and baked products. All dietary requirements will be accommodated. Great care is taken to ensure that food is freshly served. Diets are nutritious taking into account of each person’s needs and preferences. A choice menu is prepared and offered by our catering staff on a daily basis. All products served at cherry grove are of the highest quality and sourced locally where possible.

Entertainment

Our aim is to create a sense of community and encourage active involvement in activities.
Activities included will be light exercise, relaxation, card and board games, music reminiscence therapy, and outdoor entertainment (during the summer). At all times respect and dignity will be maintained and residents may choose not to participate in activities if they so choose.
